Most of us know what it is like to be tuned to nothing. The days fill up with noise, but none of it carries a real message, and the harder we work to fix ourselves, the more worn out we get. The Bible's diagnosis goes deeper than tired or lost. Paul says that apart from Christ we were dead in our trespasses. Dead people do not repair themselves, and they do not find their own way back. So Ephesians 2 turns on God's mercy, not our effort. He loved us when there was nothing lovely to see, and He made us alive together with Christ. Through Ezekiel He had promised more than a cleanup. He promised a new heart and His own Spirit within, so that what had gone hard and cold could finally respond to Him.
David knew this kind of rescue. He describes being pulled out of a pit and set on solid rock, and the first thing God gave him afterward was a new song. Joy in Scripture is not a mood we work up. It is the sound a rescued person makes, and it often carries far enough that others see it and trust the Lord too. That joy does not rise and fall with how we feel on a given night, because it rests on what God has done and on His grip on us, not ours on Him. If your life feels like noise right now, you do not have to find the right signal on your own. Ask Him to do what He promised, and let Him give you something to sing.

Lyrics
[Verse 1]
Staring at the static on a midnight screen
Living in the shadows of a broken dream
I was running out of power, running out of time
Trying to fix a heart with a broken design
Then the signal cut through the dark of the night
A sudden rush of color, a brand new light
[Pre-Chorus]
I felt the rhythm start to change inside my chest
You took the heavy load and gave me rest
From the static to the symphony
You turned it all around for me
[Chorus]
Oh, Your saving grace, like a tidal wave
Pulled me up from the edge of the grave
Electric joy running through my veins
You broke the power of all my chains
Oh, You made me alive, and I know, I know
Your saving grace won't let me go
[Verse 2]
No more looking backward at the ghosts of the past
You're the steady anchor that is built to last
Every little heartbeat is a praise to Your name
Nothing in my future's ever gonna be the same
You reset my system, You cleared out the cold
Took my heart of stone and You made it whole
[Pre-Chorus]
I felt the rhythm start to change inside my chest
You took the heavy load and gave me rest
From the static to the symphony
You turned it all around for me
[Chorus]
Oh, Your saving grace, like a tidal wave
Pulled me up from the edge of the grave
Electric joy running through my veins
You broke the power of all my chains
Oh, You made me alive, and I know, I know
Your saving grace won't let me go
[Bridge]
It's unmerited, it's beautiful, it's free
The way Your mercy found a soul like me
It's unmerited, it's beautiful, it's free
And now I'm dancing in Your victory
[Chorus]
Oh, Your saving grace, like a tidal wave
Pulled me up from the edge of the grave
Electric joy running through my veins
You broke the power of all my chains
Oh, You made me alive, and I know, I know
Your saving grace won't let me go
[Outro]
Won't let me go
Your saving grace
It won't let me go
Jesus, You won't let me go
