Most of us start the day braced. The news is already loud, the to-do list is already long, and something we dreaded last night is still there when the alarm goes off. It is tempting to think faith should make mornings quiet, or that a good quiet time guarantees a good day. Then trouble shows up anyway, and we wonder whether God slept in. Jesus never promised His people an easy day. He told them plainly that in this world they would have trouble.
What He did promise is Himself. Jesus said He has overcome the world, and He promised to be with His people always. That means He is not waiting for the day to calm down. He reigns in the middle of the noise, over what is still broken. The world is not fixed yet. The headlines are real, and so is the grief on your street. But the King is not absent, and He is already making all things new. You do not have to wait for a quiet morning to find Him. Turn to Him in the noisy one. He was there before you woke up.

Lyrics
[Verse 1]
Scraping the frost off the windshield glass
Keys jingling in a calloused hand
Breath rising by the railroad tracks
Light spilling out on a weary land
[Pre-Chorus 1]
The cold stays frozen in the air
The day feels heavy before it starts
Yet light is breaking the frozen ground
And warming the rhythm of our hearts
[Chorus]
Here comes the morning
Not free from trouble
But here comes the Savior
Strong as a mighty king
In the chaos of a restless world
He's the Lord over every broken thing
[Verse 2]
The radio spills out the morning dread
Voices arguing back and forth
While an old brick steeple across the street
Points like an anchor due north
A yellow bus stops at the crosswalk line
A father lets go of a little hand
Even inside this noisy town
Peace is a place where a soul can stand
[Bridge]
Let the headlines shout into the dark
Let the kingdoms rise and fall
Not a single promise He has made
Has ever failed at all
No shadow can outrun the dawn
No dark can quench His light
This world will never overcome
He's the Lord who won the fight
[Final Chorus]
Here comes the morning
Not free from trouble
But here comes the Savior
Strong as a mighty king
In the chaos of a restless world
He's the Lord over every broken thing
[Outro]
Strong as a mighty king
Lord over every broken thing
Right in the middle of the noise...
He has overcome the world
Jesus is already there
Already there
