Most of us want two dishonest options. Either heaven is a someday escape, so this week does not matter, or we try to build a perfect world with our own hands and burn out when grief, injustice, and our own sin refuse to leave. The Bible holds a harder hope. God will make all things new. He has not finished that work yet. We live in the middle.
John hears the throne say it plainly: the old order of death, mourning, crying, and pain will pass, and He is making all things new. Peter says we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth where righteousness dwells. Waiting is not passivity. People who trust that future tell the truth, forgive neighbors, feed the hungry, and repent — not because they can finish the new creation, but because the King who will finish it is already Lord of this Tuesday. The groaning of the world is not proof He forgot. It is the sound of a creation that has not yet been delivered.
Set your hope on His promise, not on your ability to patch what only He can remake. And do not use "someday" as an excuse to live like the old world still owns you. He will wipe tears. Until that day, live as citizens of the world He has already promised.
Associated Scripture
Revelation 21:4-5 (ESV): "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. And he who was seated on the throne said, ‘Behold, I am making all things new.’ Also he said, ‘Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.’"
2 Peter 3:13 (ESV): "But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells."
Suno Style Prompt: An exuberant, worldbeat-infused pop anthem defined by its infectious polyrhythmic groove, lush a cappella vocal introduction, and sparkling fretwork. Opens with a rich, soaring male a cappella choir performing traditional call-and-response harmonies before bursting into an upbeat, syncopated rhythm. Built around bright, highlife-style clean electric guitar arpeggios and rhythmic acoustic strumming, layered with dulcimer section stabs, and a fluid, melodic fretless bassline that bounds playfully across the groove. Male lead vocals are conversational, witty, and relaxed, delivered with a warm mid-range tenor tone, effortless phrasing, and joyful call-and-response interplay. Production is bright, open, and drenched in warm organic analog clarity.

Lyrics
(Till heaven comes down)
Make it new
(Till heaven comes down)
Make it new
[Verse 1]
I look for Your new world
Where mercy fills the air
No shadow on the table
No grief hanging there
A land more bright than morning
More beautiful than now
[Verse 2]
Let hungry hands be open
Let wounded hearts be healed
Let neighbors learn forgiveness
And truth be quietly felt
Even here in the waiting
Let Your kingdom show
[Pre-Chorus]
Until that day comes
Teach us to live Your way
Until that day comes
Let love break through today
[Chorus]
Unveil the dawn where sorrow dies
Wipe every tear from weary eyes
Restore the earth, redeem the dust
Make all things new, in You we trust
We lift Your name here
We live Your praise here
Till heaven comes down
Make all things new
[Bridge]
And every knee will bow
And every tongue will sing
The earth will be a witness
To the beauty of the King
So shape us in the waiting
Until the final day
[Chorus]
Unveil the dawn where sorrow dies
Wipe every tear from weary eyes
Restore the earth, redeem the dust
Make all things new, in You we trust
We lift Your name here
We live Your praise here
Till heaven comes down
Make all things new
[Outro]
Make all things new
Make all things new
[Outro]
Make all things new
(Till heaven comes down)
Make it new
