Busyness has become a badge of honor. A full calendar tells us we matter. But a crowded life can be a quiet way of keeping God at arm's length. We rarely reject Him outright. We just never seem to have the space.
When Jesus was born, there was no proper place for Him, and Mary laid Him in a manger. Throughout His life, people kept missing Him. His own did not receive Him. The religious leaders were too sure of themselves. Many were simply occupied with other things. Jesus told a story of a great banquet where the invited guests all had good reasons not to come: a field, some oxen, a new marriage. None of those things were wrong. They just mattered more.
Here is the good news. Jesus did not wait for the world to clear a spot before He came. He entered our crowded, distracted lives on His own initiative. He still seeks people who have filled every corner with something else, and He promises a lasting place in His Father's house for all who trust Him.
This Christmas, the question is not whether you can fit Him into your schedule. It is whether you will stop long enough to receive the One who already came for you. Ask Him to show you what is crowding Him out, and turn to Him. He is patient, and His welcome is real.

Lyrics
[Verse 1]
Every square on the calendar's full
Every night's already spoken for
Phone is buzzing on the counter
Someone's knocking at the door
I've got lights in every window
And a wreath to greet the guests
But I haven't saved a minute
For the One who gives me rest
[Chorus]
No room, no room
I filled up every space
No room, no room
And still He came with grace
He's standing at the door tonight
Won't you make Him room
Won't you make Him room
[Verse 2]
Back in Bethlehem that evening
Every guest room had been filled
Not a bed for a weary mother
And the night was growing chill
So they laid the Son of Heaven
In a manger in the straw
He came down to crowded places
And He came down for us all
[Chorus]
No room, no room
I filled up every space
No room, no room
And still He came with grace
He's standing at the door tonight
Won't you make Him room
[Verse 3]
Maybe your heart is like that town
Packed with worries, wants, and plans
Every corner claimed by something
That was never in your hands
He's the One who came to find you
And He's never turned away
Clear a corner, light a candle
Let Him in this Christmas Day
[Bridge]
Born in a borrowed stable
Buried in a borrowed tomb
There was no room for Jesus
So in His Father's house there's room
[Final Chorus]
No room, no room
I filled up every space
No room, no room
And still He came with grace
He's standing at the door tonight
Won't you make Him room
[Outro]
Won't you make Him room
There's room
